Not as durable as you reckon

I bought the whole set about a year ago. For the price I paid, I nearly wish I had saved it and gotten somethign else. Don’t get me incorrect…I like the way it looks and holds up. The chairs are very comfortable and the side table/ice chest things are a nice touch. But, I noticed the other day that one of the legs on the bench looked bent, and when I looked at it, it has a crack and there is a excellent chance it will break soon. This is after the glider/rocker chair broke while my brother and his girlfriend were sitting in it. Keep in mind…no one who has sat on the furniture is “larger” (I reckon the largest person to sit on my furniture was in the 220 lbs range, and that was only once). Luckily, I know someone who can weld…

The photo does not do these chairs justice. The aluminum work on the back is positively gorgeous. They are very comfortable. They arrived quickly, extremely well packaged and really assembled. I looked at them for months and shopped around. Similar chairs cost much, much more. I should have ordered them straight away and not wasted my time in local stores.

I couldn’t be more pleased with the chairs that I ordered. They are well built, solid and quite striking. When looking for deep seating rocker chairs, there were no others of this type with so many satisfied customers at such a evenhanded price. I am very pleased with my buy and will look for more matching pieces soon.

Better than expected

My husband and I searched for a fantastic set for our patio for some time. My husband is a larger man, so any sets that have arms that are close in on the sides are extremely uncomfortable. We went to your typical home enhancement stores and didn’t want to get into the pricier sets at patio specialty stores. After reading the reviews on this line and admiring the look of them, we chose to give these a try. They have far exceeded our expectations. They are extremely comfortable, have gentle, balanced rocking and look incredible on our patio. They are truly one of those items that you get which would cost twice as much somewhere else. I Scotchgarded the cushions (we have a 1-year-ancient, 2-year-ancient and 3 dogs) because they are so light. This was my only concern. But, I have so far been able to just spray any dirt/ marks off with the water hose. We ordered the fire pit table, too, and it’s perfect for putting your feet up. Beyond doubt highly not compulsory.

Sit a spell

There was a time when folks who offered an invitation to visit used the phrase, “would you like to sit a spell”. Had these chairs been available back then I strongly suspect people would have sat a lot longer than a “spell”! The design of these chairs is gorgeous to the eye yet they still retain full functionality and comfort. Even for those of us vertically challenged, the rocking mechanism is smooth and easily set into motion. The seats are generous in size and allow one to curl up with a book and a cold lemonade on a warm summer day. In fact, we have found ourselves “deck-side” so much that we couldn’t resist purchasing the matching side table complete with ice bucket! If only the cushions were heated, then we could stave off Ole Man Winter and extend the deck season a lot longer?!
